Tami and I are excited to welcome you to this year’s XP Metro Conference on October 6-9, 2025, in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Our venue for sessions and lodging will be the beautiful Hilton Beachfront Resort and Spa, one of the premier resorts on the Island and closest to the beach.
The schedule for our time together is posted below, and Tami will follow up with a schedule for the wives in late June. We hope that you and your wife will join us! With a full-service spa, incredible beach, and lots of fun activities nearby, we know this will be a great time together.
Returning Conference XPs:
Please fill out the registration form below by June 15th (and if possible, send in your fees by June 30th) to let me know that you will be returning. In July, we will open up the available seats on a first-come, first-served basis. There are several new folks desiring to attend our conference this year.
Returning XPs who will not be attending the Conference:
Please fill out the registration form below before June 15th and send your fees in by June 30th. This will give you access to the XP Metro Conference Dropbox folder and distribution group in which we share information throughout the year.
New XPs:
There is a $400 annual membership fee to be part of the group. This does not guarantee a spot at the conference, but it does include you in Dropbox resources and the email-based discussions that go on during the year. If there is a spot open for you at the conference, there is no additional cost for attendance. On July 7th, we will open any remaining seats on a first-come, first-served basis. You pay for your own travel and lodging.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership
Being a member of the XP Metro Group connects you to other XPs via email for discussion purposes.
Conference attendance is capped at 40 attendees. Conference attendance is prioritized by those who have paid their membership fee, then those who have attended the most recent conferences, and then new members.
Metro members must serve with a Southern Baptist Church and meet the following minimum requirements (or be grandfathered in as a prior-year member):
- Have the title of Executive Pastor (or your church’s equivalent)
- Be full-time
- Report directly to the Senior Pastor
- Have two or more direct reports
- Church attendance averages 1500 or more in worship or 750 or more in Bible Study
- Have a $2 million or larger budget

This is a small airport (one runway) but American has a number of flights in and out of here each day. Delta and United also fly in and out but on a more sporadic basis. This airport is about 15 minutes from the resort.
Savannah – Hilton Head International (SAV)
400 Airways Ave, Savannah, GA 31408
This is a much larger international airport, and most major carriers fly in and out multiple times each day. However, this airport is about an hour from the resort, maybe 45 minutes. The hotel does not offer a shuttle, but I am checking on other shuttle options. More info to come.
